YouTube’s job is to provide you with an amazing platform where you can do that.   YouTube does provide some support with ad revenue, but don’t bank on that. You'

  • How To Make Money on YouTube as a Small Creator [Ep. #1]

How To Make Money on YouTube as a Small Creator [Ep. #1]

    08/01/2016 Duration: 35min

For this very first podcast, let's talk about the foundations of earning a full-time income from your YouTube audience, even if you're a small YouTuber. I start by telling my story about how I earned $10,000/month from my channel after only 6 months with around 3,000 subscribers. Then I share the principles of how to think about a channel that makes that kind of money possible with a relatively small audience. While I'm talking to a group of vloggers in this presentation and tailor it accordingly, these principles apply to almost any channel. Not to every channel, but to most channels. Please forgive the poor audio quality. I recorded the audio on my phone, which also happened to be where my notes were for my talk, so you'll hear some rubbing and tapping in this audio recording. Sorry! Hopefully the value of the content overrides that! Tweet me @timschmoyer and let me know your thoughts!
