    J.M. DeMatteis is our guest this month. If you're a spider-fan you're familiar with his classic, "Kraven's Last Hunt." He also wrote Amazing Spider-Man #400 in which Aunt May died. He was also the writer who had a solid run on "Spectacular Spider-Man." One of his highlights was issue #200 in which Harry Osborn died. As you know all those characters got better, but the way they went out was done by the master.

And back in 2006 we started a little podcast and thousands of listeners later, it too is going strong. We blow out the birthday candles on this show. We also discuss topics like the latest Brand New Day issues, why fans are so fascinated with sales numbers, if Ultimate Peter and Mary Jane should do the horizontal mambo, and the upcoming Venom movie. As if that were not enough we take live callers. Its a fun romp and we celebrate in style!

McNiven penciled the recent Civil War mini- series along with the first arc of Brand New Day in the amazing Spider-Man title. And Stuart Imonen is the current penciler on the Ultimate Spider-Man title written by Brian Michael Bendis The two artists were signing books at Jason's local comic shop.
