Our second episode featuring regular guest and permanent brother Zach Rayment (Footy à Duex) We talk HBO's series The Newsroom. They take a look at the Season 2 Finale, and ultimately the Series Finale, “This Is All We Are” and ponder whether or not Cinemax should’ve let the series continue as Soderbergh had intended. On this weeks episode Nick and Jared discuss the 2013 film Short Term 12, written and directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. This is a film Jared added to Nick's Queue at the end of the Take Shelter episode. This film is a remake of a short film of the same name. It stars Brie Larson, John Gallagher Jr, LaKeith Stanfield, and Kaitlyn Dever. This film is notable for the fact that it lead to Brie Larson being cast in Room, which subsequently resulted in her receiving an Academy Award for Best Actress.
