As we march closer to the end of our series, we will look at the most pivotal points of Jesus life through His arrest, trial, and death. All of this will build to the centurion who proclaims "truly this man was God's Son!". 

Jesus enters Jerusalem on a donkey, not the majestic rollout that is usually afforded a ruler. From chapters 8-10 we see a literal and figurative shift in Jesus' ministry toward Jerusalem. Jesus will heal two men who are blind, His 3 predictions that He will die, the disciples being spiritually blind to His message. How do all of these issues tie together?

From Jacob and Esau, Edom has been at odds with Israel. God sees this conflict, and warns Edom to change its ways, and that God has not forgotten how Edom has treated their kin. The Wake Up Call This week we begin a new series focusing on some of the minor prophets titled Better Than New! Specifically, we'll be looking at Joel and Obadiah. To begin our series, we'll be studying the first chapter of Joel, where God sends a mighty wake-up call to God's people.
