Dublin 2 has for decades been the most lucrative, most expensive, and most popular address for commercial investments on the island of Ireland. But in the latest report from BNP real estate, it appears investors have abandoned the postcode. Cloud computing is the way we store millions of gigabytes of data. Of course to do that you have to store it somewhere physically and that is usually data centres. They are the backbone of the Internet and Ireland has an outsized share of technology companies wanting data centres to be nearby.
