Water and wastewater coatings manufacturer Epoxytec is repurposing portions of its Florida facility to produce hand sanitizer to meet rising demand amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Though Bullard manufactures a wide range of personal protective equipment (PPE) frequently used by coatings contractors, the COVID-19 pandemic is prompting the company to shift its focus to the health care industry and its need for powered air-purifying respirators (PAPR). Mitch Kiser, global product manager for industrial respiratory protection at Bullard, joins the CoatingsPro interview series to discuss what the coronavirus has meant for his business.  Kiser also tells us the feedback he's heard from the company's traditional clients, like the construction industry, and what might come next as the economic fallout continues.
