PressProgress calls itself "Canada’s most shared source for progressive news and information." They get real scoops, using the traditional tools of journalism, like access to information requests, fact-checking and seeking comment from politicians.   But they're not a traditional news source. They're backed by the Broadbent Institute, a progressive think tank founded by a former leader of the NDP.
