In today's clubhouse takeaways, I discussed the lead generation strategy used by Rocket Mortgage, which used an advertisement over the weekend of using a 90-day rate lock. I discussed why a buyer would want to do that or would not want to do that because typically, interest rates lock within 30 and 45 days. Anything longer usually has some sort of fee attached to it. What they were really doing was creating a reason for a buyer to call them. It was a great lead generation strategy to gather buyer information.
