Across the National Football League, training camps will be opening this week. The college game will also follow suit. America's 100-yard obsession is back again -- at least for the fellas Women's gridiron football ended their season last week as the nation's oldest and largest women's league held their championship and all-star games last week. Among those who earn All-Star status is Pittsburgh Passion guard Jacqueline Cook, and she did it in her rookie year. And her return to football began with the disappointment of being told she couldn't play on a different team and a different sport because she is a trans woman. That wasn't a problem in the inclusive WFA, and each game week she make a 2-hour trek from her home in Canton, Ohio (the Hall Of Fame City) to Pittsburgh (The Steel City) and open holes for the Passion, and perhaps open minds as well.
