Dr. Alyssa L. Provencio is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science and Master of Public Administration program at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). She is also the Coordinator of the Certificate in Disaster Management. She teaches a number of courses in emergency and disaster management, public administration, and environmental and social justice. At UCO, she is involved in several college and university committees related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, sustainability, and environmental justice, as well as curriculum and pedagogy.
