Welcome to season 7, episode 15 of Horror Hill. I’m your host, Erik Peabody, and I’ve got a good one for you tonight. Our winter-themed horror spree continues this week, with a tale by Austin Case. In the grand tradition of many other Christmas stories, “Yuletide by the Fireside,” opens with some light marital discord. Jennifer and Mark are on their way up to a lovely (and remote) cottage for the holiday, where Jennifer struggles with finding time for work obligations around the usual festive merriment. However, their picturesque winter getaway is about to take an unexpected turn. I’ve got to tell you, folks, I really enjoyed this one. I like it when a well-written tale isn’t afraid to go for the jugular. Also, I have a special treat for you today. Chilling Tales for Dark Nights veteran Olivia Steele is here to voice Jennifer, so please join me in welcoming her to this episode. I guess that Christmas came early for us this year.
