This week, Pastor Nathan Miller kicks off Champion's "Cross to Crown" series to unfold the days leading up to Jesus's crucifixion and resurrection. Preaching out of Mark 11--the story of Jesus's entrance into Jerusalem--the sermon illuminates God's command to every one of us to lay down our own thoughts and ways to see God's purpose prevail. Like the citizens who threw down their garments, symbolizing praise, surrender, and giving their all to Jesus, we are challenged to look within and reflect, too. Are we allowing God's plans and purpose for our lives to unfold, or have we been called by the Master, yet still unable to stip off old cloaks?
