The Wiliwili Festival is back! Jen Lawson, Executive Director Waikoloa Dry Forest Initiative wants you to know all about the events on Saturday, Januray 28th at Waikoloa Stables in Waikoloa Village and they have tours going up into the Dry forest Preserve. On Friday, Jan. 27 at Waikoloa Stables evening fundraiser with art show, pupus and entertainments and a chance to meet the Waikoloa dry forest ohana and get involved.Jen and I are both enthusiastic about all the success over the last five years. It's wonderful story how all the volunteer hours have resulted in so much progress for preserving the dry forest and other projects. It's a weekend of celebrating our native lowland dry forest and the beautiful wiliwili trees of Waikoloa.
