Emily T Gail Talk Story

I share some shares talk stories from the recent USGA US Amateur at Oakland Hills in Bloomfield Hills near my home town Detroit. My first guests are long time friends who I had not seen for a long time. Art and Jeannie McCafferty, The Publishers of Great Lakes Sports Publication. 30+ years of publishing Michigan Runner and Michigan Golfer. We were standing outside Oakland Hills Club House and had just created a video for their on-line Great Lakes Sports Publications talking golf and running. I credit Art with putting our Emily Detroit Runs on the map. We were all pioneers at the time in our own way. Joining us is long time Michigan Golfer and Michigan Runner Photographer Carter Sherline who reflects on the people and events he has covered over the years and shares some fun stories. We also talk about the rich history of golf in Michigan and at Oakland Hills.
