America’s favorite pastime is now America’s favorite environmental steward. Leaders in baseball are “greening” their stadiums by recycling, becoming more energy efficient, and encouraging fans to “swing for the fence” when it comes to living an eco-friendly lifestyle. We’ll be talking with Justin Sellers, Asst. Commissioner of the Coastal Plain League, who is planning the nation’s first baseball “Green Week” which will involve his 14-team collegiate summer baseball league with clubs located in NC, SC, and VA.
