Kennedy Jr. joined James for an interview at Stand Up New York, where the pair discussed RFK Jr's book American Values: Lessons I Learned from My Family amidst a wide-ranging conversation on the Kennedy Family, the role money plays in American politics, and the cost of fossil fuel-based energy compared to renewable energy sources. Around the 50-minute mark in the conversation, the topic pivots, following a discussion on the post-WW2 tax rates and the rise of billionaires such as Bill Gates. James questions Kennedy's view on Gates - given the Microsoft founder's pledge to donate large sums of money to charity and his vaccine efforts to eradicate malaria in Africa - to which Kennedy responds, "Bill Gates has done more harm to the planet than arguably anybody in history." Kennedy believes that many vaccines are ineffective and harmful to the populace and that Gates' efforts in Africa have caused
