In week four of our series, Pastor Matt Martin takes us to the well-known account of "Daniel in the Lion's Den" in chapter 6. Despite his age, Daniel's character, conviction, and courage were evident as he served his king with excellence and his God faithfully. A plot by enemies was set to destroy him, and he was cast into a den of lions, but God rescued him, prompting King Darius of the Medes to praise the living God of Daniel. Pastor Matt reflects on the life of Daniel and reminds us of the importance of building the habit of prayer and reading God's Word so that we can respond well, stand firm in our convictions, and remain confident in God even in times of crisis.
