John 1:9-14 - John wants everyone to know that Jesus was God in the flesh.  He demonstrated what life would be like if God walked among us.  He gave His life so that we could believe.  If we genuinely believe, He makes us His children and gives us the ability to act like Christ in a dark world.  We can also be people of grace, truth, and love in a world that desperately needs all three.
