On January 4, 2019, 22-year-old Savannah Spurlock wanted a night out on the town. A few weeks prior, Savannah had given birth to twins making her a mother of 4 young children. Her mother, Ellen, could see that she needed a break so after her older children were tucked safely into their beds, Savannah went out with a girlfriend to a bar in Lexington, KY around 10pm. This was supposed to be a night filled with fun and a chance to cut loose. The evening didn't go as planned after Savannah and her friend got into an argument and separated. Savannah later left the bar with three men she had met that evening. Savannah called her mother via face time and let her know that everything was fine and that she would be home in a few hours.
