Most TV targeted to teens is dominated by male characters, often representing females as 1 dimensional or as “side-kicks" and love interests. These two teen shows, however, stand out from the others and transcend stereotypical female representation. Listen to us go head to head as we debate which show should be awarded the title of “Most Feminist Teen Show”: Veronica Mars (Sammy’s vote) or Pretty Little Liars (X’s vote).
