Surviving Mental Illness - My Story - Linda Baron-Katz Linda Baron-Katz grew up in a home rocked by mental illness when she was a young girl. She later began to struggle with her own illness, the stigma - both within and without her family - and fought -nsuccessfully - to become an advocate for those experiencing mental illness. From a small child, frightened of her mother, to a young adults wondering "what's wrong with me" to now a college graduate, happily married and an advocate for the mentally ill, Linda remains a powerful example of what life can be life when you work to achieve your goals.
