Two years ago, The MasterCard Foundation and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation joined forces with several organizations to spur innovation in secondary education in developing countries. Through support for projects that explore critical questions, pilot new approaches and scale proven models, the Partnership to Strengthen Innovation and Practice in Secondary Education (PSIPSE) demonstrates the power philanthropy can play in bringing together diverse entities to address complex social challenges.
