Roads To Recovery

Today we have the second of three programs in recognition of 2017 NAIDOC Week which is on from the 2nd till the 9th July. The 2017 theme - Our Languages Matter. The origins of this day date back to before the 1920s when aboriginal rights groups protested by boycotting Australia day. Their main concerns were the treatment they were receiving and the lack of understanding of their thousands of years of culture. Have things changed? To talk about these issues we have Renee Howell and Mick Ryan Aboriginal Health Liaison Officers from the Aboriginal Health Unit at Barwon Health.
