Sterling Hayes is - in our opinion - one of the finest, most skillful, most honest rapper to come out of Chicago in the past few years. Many talked about his association with Vic Mensa’s SaveMoney, the crew that notoriously includes - just to name a few - Mensa himself, Towkio, Joey Purp and the now infamously popular Chance The Rapper. But the reality is that Sterling Hayes is his own thing, still working in the restaurant business to fund his musical projects, buying himself that much needed freedom, mandatory for those who want to say whatever the f*ck they want in whatever form they want. Sterling Hayes belongs to nothing and no one, except to his own truth.
