Originally from Idaho, but now calling Portland their home, twin sisters Laurie and Katelyn Shook make string-heavy folk music with indelible harmonies. We caught up with the pair while at Fayetteville Roots Festival, shortly before they played an incredible live show to talk about releasing their next album, some of the more unconventional instruments they use on stage and the power of music as an agent of change.
