1.5 Scene Breakdown: Crossing the Fantastical Gap

Informações:

Synopsis

Music can be either diegetic (living in the world of the film, think music from a radio) or nondiegetic (existing outside of the reality of the film, your typical film score). But sometimes, music crosses from diegetic to nondiegetic. It exits the characters’ universe and enters ours, or vice versa. This is called Crossing the Fantastical Gap, and in this episode, the guys look at Reservoir Dogs and Apocalypse Now and how it works in specific scenes.   Website Instagram Twitter Facebook Youtube If you have a film/topic that you want to hear discussed on the podcast, submit it here.
