Duluth artist and musician, Scott Lunt celebrates his first solo quilt show, "Quilts are Magic," opening on Thursday, April 4 at the Kruk Gallery at the University of Wisconsin, Superior. His quilting is both a passion and an obsession, as both quilters and artists are compelled by their creativity. Although works in the show span more 20 years, his recent quilts are bright, experiemental and often carry a message, a theme or even illustrate a passion for something specific like Gram Parson's Nudie suit.
