At age 54, Marianne is a retired U.S. Marine Colonel, and has her PhD in Leadership Studies focusing on successful women in male dominated organizations. Her and her father are one of the very few father/daughter combinations to both retire from the U.S. Marine Corps at the same rank. In today’s episode, in addition to revealing her regrets, she talks about women in leadership and having a voice, her leadership style and her journey to become a successful leader, the history of women in the military and her opposing opinion of women in combat.
