Synopsis

Lindsey Reynolds and Julius Komorowski discuss the decision of Lord Tyre in AA v Secretary of State for BEIS (bit.ly/2tqSV18). On 1 June 2018, he ruled that Employment Tribunal claimants can raise parallel proceedings for diligence on the dependence. We address the implications for claimants, and their representatives, who fear their current or former employer will try to evade payment of any eventual award by the Tribunal.
