Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, "The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." The book of Romans, Chapter 14 starts off teaching us how to deal with people who think differently than we do. The primary task of believers is to avoid standing in judgment of people who may differ from them when it comes to their level of faith as it pertains to our daily behaviors and practices. For example, verses two and three say, "For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not: and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him." The Dake Bible lists twenty duties of Christians in view of non-essential principles among believers including fellowship with each other in spite of personal differences of opinion (verse 1), not judging each other (verses 3 - 13), recognizing that each man shall give a
