Matthew Nevin is one of the founders of MART. An artist-led, not for profit arts organisation founded in 2007 with gallery spaces and studios in Rathmines, and more studios in 7 buildings across Dublin. Sebastian Stephenson talks to Mathew about 10 years of running MART, what they are going to do to celebrate it, the different attitudes of artists towards the profession and what they look for when exhibiting artist, how they have to not only survive but expand after many arts spaces have had to close or move and what they have coming up this year and to celebrate the 10 years of MART.
