Hi! We’re Nate and Alisha Keating. Welcome to Arise and Adventure! As we sit here surrounded by piles of laundry, shoveling dark chocolate into our mouths, sipping lukewarm coffee, and listening for a peep out of our sleeping kids, we’re dreaming of adventure. Oh the places we can go and the memories we can make! We call it the travel bug. And, we’ll admit, we’ve been bit hard! Just the other day, someone posted a question on the big FB about whether or not it was worth traveling with kids under 1 and it got us thinking of all the times we took our oldest son on trips even before age two. By then he’d been on 25 plane rides and had been to New York, Seattle, San Francisco, Maui, Puerto Vallarta, Phoenix, Washington D.C., North Carolina (Asheville and the Smoky Mountains), Palm Springs, and many other places. But it’s not just about the big trips! In fact, it’s mostly about what happens outside of the “big trips” in normal, everyday life. We believe that every day is an opportunity for adventure.
