Phenomena Nations

In Canadian folklore there is a cryptid that lurks in Turtle Lake Saskatchewan that is said to try to capsize boats, and the local natives say that people who would travel to it's territory would vanish without a trace. What is it? Some say it could be a giant lake sturgeon, others a Plesiosau left over from the ice age, some believe it's an actual monster. So what is it?
