Formed in 2014 by brothers Cole and Dexter Carpenter, the five-man group’s frontman and bassist respectively, Wise Words brought a refreshing post-rock sound to the Dayton, Ohio music scene. The band disbanded in January of 2018. Caleb Morris, brothers Cole and Dex Carpenter joined me to talk about the history of Wise Words, their writing process and much more.
