Synopsis

Sgt Bob Davis served as a Marine Corps Dog Handler. After the military, Bob worked in Kern County for several years. He was a Commander of VFW Post 97 and later a District Commander for the VFW. Bob later became involved with Camp Hamilton and asked to dedicate a tree in his dog's memory. King 67XO was killed in action in June 1968 in Vietnam. Glenn and Bob decided on a fire hydrant for King. Bob later passed away and his tree was planted next to his dog as he requested. The Sheriff's Explorers take care of this veteran's memorial.
