I Am Do Filmmaker

Dons Dee Productions is an Aberdeen-based, three-man filmmaking unit, comprising, Nicci, Dave and Mike. (Mike wasn't present for the pic, I'm afraid.) When I met Nicci and Dave at the Aberdeen Actors and Directors networking evening at the start of March, they told me about their current production. They say it's a story about drug addiction and how it can destroy a person's life. There was lots of chat about realism and graphic portrayal...so I think the audience will find it a difficult watch. A timetable for the production? All I could get out of them was that they're planning to have it completed by September when Nicci is leaving the country (there's a filmmaking story there...hopefully he'll give an IADF podcast interview on that nearer the time).
