Over 250 people were feared drowned this week after they set off in a small boat from the coast of North Africa in an attempt to reach the Italian Island of Lampedusa. The tragedy highlighted a growing problem for Italy over what to do with the flood of migrants that has resulted from the Arab uprisings in Tunisia and Libya.
