From the beginning, intentional premeditated murder is something God has decreed to be an abomination and dealt with severely. Its even something I believe is imprinted upon our hearts. I suppose one reason this is so important is because Man was made in the image of God. For one thing It must mean that unlike the rest of Creation we were created to be compatible with God in a more intimate way. I mean… families share lots of physical characteristics right? They might have the same eyes or chin or a similar walk. These things identify us as family and remind us we were meant to have strong unifying family ties in fellowship and relationship.
