Darrell Lynn has been around the world and back, literally. And he’s made that trip more than once. In 2018, Darrell saw an opportunity. He decided to purchase and renovate an old shirt and box factory close to downtown Columbia. The Factory of Columbia will be a retail destination featuring high-end home furnishings, incredible antiques, and paintings. Before I interviewed Darrell, I had the opportunity to walk through the building, and it is amazing. The restoration process is enhancing the integrity of the building. Beyond talking about the factory, we dove into Darrell’s career at Rader Companies, Inc. and talked about his current companies: Vintique, Blink Home, Oil Portraits, Leather Books, and Hero Portraits. Several of these will be featured at the Factory at Columbia. The space is going to be unlike anything Columbia has seen, and they have already started announcing new tenants.
