A naturally gifted poet, speaker, author and encourager, Evelyn could not have chosen a more perfect arena upon which to embark because her life, within itself, is a living testimony that with hard work, determination and faith, anything is possible.  Case in point: Evelyn has undergone 10 surgeries since 1975 after being diagnosed with familial adenomatouspolyposis - FAP (a rare and hereditary form of colon cancer).  Yet, she stood with bold confidence and proclaimed to her mother that everything was going to be alright.  And guess what? Evelyn was correct.  She went on to gain a formal education and work her way up from hotel operator to successful sales manager.  Today, she uses her gift of communication and encouragement to inspire others.
