Today’s guest on Extraordinary Women is Dorie Clark, author of Entrepreneurial You, Stand Out and Reinventing You. After being on the talking circuit for her book Stand Out, speaking around the world on how to become a thought leader and recognized expert, Dorie had an epiphany that led to her next book, Entrepreneurial You. She realized that being a thought leader wasn't sufficient - you have to learn to monetize that high repute. While she still believes that it is essential in today's modern economy to build a brand as a recognized leader in our field so that we're not a commodity, she knew there was more to building a successful business. So she set out to talk to 50 leading entrepreneurs on the subject. What Dorie learned from those interviews, was there's not one way - people are succeeding in a lot of ways.
