Eventually, she moved from shuttling back and forth between California and Colorado to becoming a 24/7 caregiver for the last 4 years of her mother’s life.  This experience changed her life and her career, and she founded The Caregivers’ Guardian - a consulting and support service for caregivers.  The life lessons she learnt when looking after her mother also became the basis for her first book: Tears in my Gumbo.  Women in their 40’s and upwards, are now in the unique position of being the sandwich generation, raising children as well as caring for ageing parents. Nadine provides support and access to resources to ensure that caregivers have all their needs met when they are in charge of someone’s care.  Tahverlee is a Social Impact Entrepreneur and can
