Here's a story we don't hear much of: Mary and Joseph brought baby Jesus to the temple to be dedicated to God. For Simeon and Anna it was a definitive moment for both of them. They each realized the incredible meaning this infant had personally on them: for Simeon, his own personal salvation was now real, for Anna, she thanked God and talked about the Child (Jesus) to everyone looking for deliverance.
