I am not a movie critics however when you’re telling a story about a person real life experience. I strongly believe they should have pic an actor or actress from that experience. If it was me. I would have picked a Negro American women to play the lead role in this movie not African. Most of African didn’t go through perpetual slavery except Negro Americans. The movie lost its authenticity when u cast another person from a different culture and background. Cynthia Erivo ( Nigerian) actress shouldn’t be cast to be the lead role in this movie. Hollywierd have been using this trend in the past 5 years . It’s seem like everything time they’re doing a movie about Negro Americans life stories. They usually cast an African actor or actress who have never gone through those experience. African are not Aborigines Americans. That’s why I won’t support this movie. Lastly Comcast owned Universal Studio. Rite now Comcast are in court with Byron Allen on a discrimination lawsuit against black people. Not having Negro Amer
