He served as 37 president from 1969 to 1974. He was forced to resign due to Watergate Scandal. In November 1971 he took the US dollars off the gold standard. He declared war on drugs in 1972. When He found out three of the biggest drug dealers in the United States were Negro Americans. The war on drugs was used as cover up to destroyed the black community throughout this country. One can argued. Nixon have a lot hatred towards the black community. He was forced to create this so called war on drugs to undermine black leaders and to destroyed our community.
