On this episode, we talk to Sr. Abida about Orientalism and the portrayal of Muslim women throughout history, as well as modern representations that affect Muslims.   Abida is a postgraduate student at the University of New South Wales, pursuing a Juris Doctorate degree. She previously occupied the Vice President position at UNSWMSA, the Muslim Students Association on her campus, and has been actively involved in several community initiatives.
