So I feel like I should start this podcast by singing "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" because today I get to talk to Deborah Marquardt who is the Chief Marketing Officer of The Diamond Producers Association. This is a new association that started in 2016 and their mission is to protect and promote the integrity and reputation of diamonds and the diamond industry. The thing that I was most fascinated with was how Deborah was able to help start a conversation shift around diamonds going from the traditional fairytale to more authentic storytelling.
