Melissa Carrier is a lifelong Rhode Island resident, and a total geek for all things digital. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, she holds degrees in Marketing, French, and International Business and is proud to have not taken a single course on Social Media (because they didn't exist then). In spite of all this, she managed to become the US Social Media Manager for the world's leader in cut crystal, Swarovski and continues to learn the craft of digital communications.
