Double Edged Double Bill

Grab your hot dogs and six pack for the big game! With Creed II coming out this week, Adam Thomas and Thomas Mariani are doing a double bill of sports films! Even if our duo aren't huge sports people, they love a good sports film. For this week, that good film is the seminal baseball drama The Natural, which basically feels like the superhero origin film for a master of America's past time. Then in this corner, our fighters slug it in the ring with their bad boxing film Rocky V, the absolute low for the beloved sports franchise. Even after fighting wrestlers & giving robots away as gifts, Rocky Balboa hits a new low with this initial attempt at a finale. Thank God Creed came along.
