Every year I take the time to stop everything and “Sharpen the Blade.” Im sure you are familiar with this concept. If you take the time to sharpen your knife you will be more effective at cutting your desired object. Be it a tomato or your business, the key is to look at it from the outside looking in and create a fresh sharp perspective. Every now and then you need to disconnect and look at your business, relationships, mental state, emotional state and how you carry yourself through life. For me, this takes at least a week away from my computer, clients, and daily routine. The time away gives me PERSPECTIVE. This big picture view allows me to look at the various aspects of my life and make adjustments where needed. This episode is a yearly mind dump of what I learnt from my time away from it all.
